Nailing Slow Riding
You’ve started with the basics of slow riding, but there’s more to master—especially in traffic. By positioning your body right, feathering the clutch, and using the rear brake, you’ll be carving tight turns and squeezing through narrow spaces like a ninja.

Slow riding is not a topic many motorcyclists dream about. We know that this is not a cool or sexy part of motorcycling, but it does generate a lot of minor spills and drops which ultimately mar your ride and cost money!
It is an aspect of riding worthy of covering as part of a rider’s progression to an advanced level because when perfected it raises the level of skill in all aspects of your riding through generating fine motor skills of your controls which feeds through to every part of riding.
Your Mentor will help to build the skills necessary to be able to manoeuvre your machine accurately in a precise and controlled manner at slow speed through good use of the machine’s controls, teaching you how to balance the machine through accurate use of the throttle, clutch and brakes.
