Welcome to Dorchester and West Dorset Advanced Motorcyclists (DWDAM) – part of IAM RoadSmart, the UK’s leading advanced rider network. We’re all about making motorcycling safer, more enjoyable, and giving riders the tools to level up their skills. Whether you're already an advanced rider or working towards it, we’ve got your back.

Our crew is made up of passionate bikers who’ve either passed the Advanced Motorcycle Test or are in the process of training for it. And our experienced Observers – qualified Advanced Riders – volunteer their time to help you get the most out of your riding.

We’re funded by our members and supported by Dorset Council Road Safety, helping us provide top-tier training and events for everyone.

And it’s not just about riding – we’ve got a packed calendar of social events too. Think group rides, weekend getaways, engaging lectures, and laid-back meetups. It’s all about building a community where we can learn, ride, and have fun together.
