Level up your riding

If you score a scholarship, you’ll become an IAM RoadSmart Associate Rider and get full access to the Advanced Rider Training Course—plus a year of free membership with IAM RoadSmart and DWDAM.

You’ll be teamed up with a highly skilled Observer—an advanced rider with top-tier qualifications - who will guide you through a series of personalised, real-world coaching rides at times that fit your schedule. Together, you’ll fine-tune your skills in cornering, braking, overtaking, handling junctions, and much more.

This isn’t about rules and restrictions—it’s about making you a faster-thinking, smoother, and more confident rider in any situation. Whether you want to sharpen your skills, boost your confidence, or just get more out of every ride, this course takes your abilities to the next level.

There’s no set number of sessions—you and your Observer will decide when you’re ready. And when you ace the Advanced Test, you’ll officially earn the Advanced Rider title and IAM RoadSmart Full Member status.
