Scope the Road

Stay sharp, stay ahead - great riding is all about reading the road, spotting risks, and making the right moves. Your Mentor will show you how to see more, react faster, and ride smarter.

Everything we do on our motorcycle, the position we occupy, the level of speed we use, and the decision of whether to brake or accelerate has to be based on the information we have available to us to make that decision at that moment in time.

Your Mentor will demonstrate how to improve your ability to read all the information that is available to you, helping you to gather all the information available, which will ultimately enable you to safely make better progress on the roads.

This will include utilising maximum “Main Beam” vision, smell, sound, and even the feedback you can gain through your machine.

They will help you to maximise your rearward observations whilst utilising minimum effort, encouraging efficient use of your mirrors and shoulder checks.

They will demonstrate how to improve your vision and visibility by utilising adaptive positioning on the road, demonstrating when to move, and where to place your machine to see and be seen to help you gain the maximum benefit.
